Lucky cat is a Japanese figurine that's believed to be an omen of luck and fortune. You'll notice the cat is holding a coin with the characters "千万両" meaning tens of millions. Chinoiserie refers to the 18th century European interpretation of Chinese decorative arts and traditions especially with regards to blue and white porcelain.
